Weird melon and my last day with little Sparta

Can anyone tell me what kind of melon this is?! I asked the lady at the counter who said it was cantaloupe but she doesn't really speak english so I cant trust her... I opened it and it smelled like watermelon, but looked like cantaloupe. Took a bite and it had the texture and watery-ness of a watermelon but tasted like a cantaloupe. It was like drinking milk and tasting orange juice!! weird.

You know what else is weird? Mormon graffiti...

I had to give Sparta (my hamster) to the humane society because my roommates didn't like him/were allergic. So I brought him to the Oval with me and let him run around in his ball on the track outside the long track, he was so cute!!

We aren't really allowed to have animals in the dorms anyway... :P

Im leaving for Cleveland tomorrow morning to kick some ass in the American Cup 2!!! (In my new New Edge skinsuit!)

poor little sparta...it's probably for the better - he didn't even know which way to go on the track :(

good thing there isn't a humane society for unwanted people

oh yeah, what you were eating was either the genetically modified cantamelon or the hybrid (not toyota) waterloupe. Not to worry though, it PROBABLY doesn't have much Melamine in it because as far as we know Melamine has only been put in animal feed (by those damn Chinese communist capitalists - as opposed to those damn American capitalist capitalists) not plant feed. There could be a problem if the latest discovery in cantamelon farming is to cultivate them in the nutrient and prebiotic-rich medium of a cow's intestine (or something) - but I don't think we've figured out how to do that yet. Anywho, enjoy the flavor.
